A native to the Detroit area, Jason has over 20 years of structural engineering experience and led award winning projects around the world; including giant observation wheels, mixed-use high-rise structures, university buildings, hospitals, hotels and office buildings. Utilizing his experience and passion for design, he approaches projects focused on performance and innovation.
Jason Krolicki, PE SE Principal
Marc has 30+ years of experience in the analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, cold formed metal framing and wood structures. His projects include high-rise office buildings, parking structures, housing developments, recreational facilities, health care facilities, educational facilities, historic preservation, and government buildings. His creativity and knowledge make him an invaluable partner in design.

Dr. Yates is a licensed structural engineer with over 33 years of experience in the structural design of multiple building materials and many sustainable construction techniques. His expertise includes a broad spectrum of building and client types, enabling him to provide creative, cost-effective solutions for all projects. Building typologies include K-12 Education, Higher Education, Research/Laboratories, Office/Workplace, Manufacturing/Industrial Facilities, Retail/Commercial Development, Medical Facilities, Multi-family Residential, Community Municipal and Religious Facilities.
James Yates, PE PhD Senior Associate
Owjan joined Resurget Engineering in 2021 and brings with him over 11 years of engineering experience. Prior to joining Resurget Engineering, Owjan was involved with projects related to forensic structural engineering and architecture. Owjan’s wide range of experience in both new design and forensic engineering has provided him the insight to design and develop details with durability, constructability, and lower long-term maintenance costs in mind.

Pierce brings over 10 years of experience from projects around the country with a strong emphasis on higher education and K-12, but includes workplace, industrial, retail, and single and multifamily residential. His projects have a range of materials and construction types including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, conventional wood framed structures, cold-formed metal framing, and shipping containers. His experience consists of both new construction and renovations, rehabilitating existing structures to facilitate new design and modern MEP systems.

Kevin has 25+ years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Kevin specializes in assisting property ownership and managers in the assessment of existing structures to restore and maintain concrete, masonry, and structural steel structures throughout numerous market sectors. His expertise has provided clients with cost effective and practical solutions to solve issues ranging from damaged/deteriorated building framing components, parking structure issues, and ineffective/unsafe building envelope systems. Kevin also provides engineering assistance in reinforcing existing structures which have had a change in usage or have experienced deferred maintenance or modifications.

Brian Miner joins Resurget Engineering as a Controller. Brian brings 7 years of accounting experience across multiple industries. Beyond accounting, he brings experience in setting up internal processes and procedures to help Resurget Engineering grow.

He has worked with project teams on both large complex infrastructure and structural projects as well as numerous smaller projects. Daixi joined Resurget Engineering in 2019 after graduating from University of Michigan. She brings over 4 years of experience from diverse projects in the state of Michigan including office buildings, K-12 and higher education facilities, multi-family residential, commercial, hotel, and construction engineering. She is responsible for the analysis and design of steel, PT/reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry structures.

Taylar joins Resurget as a graduate of Lawrence Technological University. With a background in Architectural Engineering, buildings' design is her forte. She primarily focuses on sustainable and economic design, unique structural solutions, and historic preservation and repurpose.

Grace joins Resurget as a graduate from the University of Michigan. She brings experience in the design of new structures and rehabilitation of existing structures. She is responsible for the analysis and design of commercial, industrial, and educational structures for projects in Michigan and around the country.

Tizazu joined Resurget in 2023. He brings over 7 years of experience in structural design per Euro code and university education from Ethiopia. He has thesis experience on shear assessment of reinforced concrete beam structures using Modified Compression Field Theory and Partial Replacement of Steel Slug as Coarse Aggregate in Concrete Production.

Daniel joins Resurget as a 2023 graduate from the University of Windsor. He has research experience investigating the implementation of emerging technologies for engineering purposes, with a particular interest in structures.

Dari joins Resurget as a Graduate Engineer from the University of Michigan. She brings a balanced view of both the design and construction process through her knowledge of the latest theory and research in structures from her education and experience with material testing/ on-site inspections from her past work.
Dari Prokopieva, EIT Graduate Engineer
Nicholas has 16 years of experience in structural engineering, specializing in structural dynamics and kinetic structures. His project experience includes large scale kinetic architecture, dynamic sculptures, floor vibration mitigation, and damping system design. Nicholas's approach is multidisciplinary and focuses on de-risking the delivery of complex projects.
